By enabling browser notification, you will be notified when a new chat comes in. As an administrator, you can stay up to date with all conversations on NestDesk. As an agent, you can easily notice the incoming chats that are assigned to you.
📌Please note that the notification feature only works when you are not on the NestDesk tab. And you need to activate both Notification feature and “Automatically assign” feature.
You can both enable the notification feature in admin account and agent account.
Otherwise, you can click on your avatar profile icon, click on Notifications
6. Go to Settings in the left sidebar > click to Automation Rules > turn on Automatically Assign
That’s done! Now you can open another tab, leave a message in live chat and test how the notification works.
