Enable browser notification

By enabling browser notification, you will be notified when a new chat comes in. As an administrator, you can stay up to date with all conversations on NestDesk. As an agent, you can easily notice the incoming chats that are assigned to you. 

📌Please note that the notification feature only works when you are not on the NestDesk tab. And you need to activate both Notification feature and “Automatically assign” feature.

How to enable agent browser notification

You can both enable the notification feature in admin account and agent account.

Admin account

  1. Login to: https://apps.nestscale.com/setting/notification
  2. Navigate to Settings on the left sidebar
  3. Under Account section, please click on Notifications

Otherwise, you can click on your avatar profile icon, click on Notifications

  1. Hit on Enable browser notifications button

  1. Click on the lock icon and switch on the notifications mode

6. Go to Settings in the left sidebar > click to Automation Rules > turn on Automatically Assign

That’s done! Now you can open another tab, leave a message in live chat and test how the notification works.

Agent account 

  1. Login to: https://apps.nestscale.com/setting/notification
  2. Click on your avatar profile icon on the bottom left corner and select Notification

  1. Click on Allow button> Hit on Enable browser notifications button
  1. CYiou will get a notification “Browser notifications are enabled”. Simply click on OK button.
