Users may require the AI Chatbot to respond to inquiries about exclusive store details, such as ongoing promotions, free shipping policies, or special discounts that the Chatbot cannot automatically access after syncing. 

By training AI Chatbot, you can guarantee that it offers precise and current answers to queries.

How to train NestDesk AI Chatbot?

Training with FAQ

This option allows you to manually provide a list of common questions and their corresponding answers. 

In this way, you can guarantee that it responds to specific inquiries following your intent. This method is ideal for guiding the AI with precise, controlled responses.

Add AI Training Questions 

  1. In the Training with FAQ section, click on (+) Add button

Note: Users can create up to 20 training AI questions

  1. Fill out the Question and Answer box > Click on Confirm

Edit AI Training Questions

  1. Click on the three dots icon beside the training question you want to edit > select

  1. Edit the information from the Add Question & Answer pop-up window > click on Save

Delete AI Training Questions  

  1. Click on the three dots icon beside the training question you want to edit > select Delete > hit on Save button

A notification “Chat AI settings has been saved successfully” will appear in the bottom right corner as below:

Training with URL

For a more automated approach, you can train the AI Chatbot by integrating your store’s URL.

All product-related information has been synced with AI Chatbot integration,  it’s highly recommended to link URLs such as your store policies, blog, or other important landing pages. 

These sources often contain essential information, including return policies, shipping rules, and promotional details that customers frequently ask about.

By integrating these pages, the AI can respond to customer inquiries with precise answers, saving time and improving overall support quality.

Note: Only 20 URLs from the Shopify-integrated store are allowed for this feature.

Add AI Training Questions 

  1. Click on (+) Add > Paste the URL into Add URL pop-up > choose Confirm
  2. Hit on Save button

Edit URL

  1. Click on the three dots icon beside the training question you want to edit > select Edit > adjust your URL > click on Confirm > hit on Save button

Delete URL 

  1. Click on the three dots icon beside the training question you want to edit > select Delete > hit on Save button

Note: If you update any information on these URLs, just click the “Update URL content” button for the AI Chatbot to recognize the changes.
