Choose the right ad objective

Your advertising objectives are goals you want to set and meet to help grow your business and engage your audience. 

In NestAds, no matter which campaign type you choose, we also offer 3 objectives as below: 

1. Reach objective

Reach objectives help to show your ad to the maximum number of people in your target audience.

Here are some questions that you need to answer by yourself when setting up a campaign with a reach objective:

  • What’s your marketing goal? Reach campaigns help you raise awareness for your product/service to larger audiences. 
  • How often do you want users to see your ad? With frequency control, you can better manage exposure to your messaging.
  • How much are you willing to pay for impressions? When running campaigns with the reach objective, the bidding method is CPM, which is the price you are willing to pay for one thousand impressions.

2. Traffic objective

The traffic objective is designed to increase traffic to an online destination of your choice (e.g: website, app, etc…)

Here are options to consider when setting up a campaign with traffic objectives:

  • ​Where do you want to drive traffic?
  • Do you want to target people who already have your app? You can target people (Custom Audience) who previously installed your app by selecting this in the Audience Section of your ad group creation. 
  • How much are you willing to pay per click? When running campaigns with the traffic objective, the bidding method is CPC, which is the average amount of money you’ve spent on a click. 

3. Conversion objective

The conversion objectives drive people to purchase your product or service. When you create a campaign using the Conversions objective on TikTok Ads, we will show your ads to people most likely to complete a specific conversion event on your website.

  • Drive traffic to your website or TikTok Instant Page.
  • Optimize ad delivery against conversion events on your website or against “on-site” events on your TikTok Instant Page.

  • Optimize ad delivery against Clicks, Conversion, and Value.

When to use Website conversions

You should consider using the Website conversions event if you want people to go to your website or TikTok Instant Page and complete a specific action.

There are many scenarios where you can use Website conversions to achieve your business goals like: 

  • Driving sales on your e-commerce website
  • Getting people to click the call to action button on your TikTok Instant Page after they learn more about your business
