What is TikTok Events API?

TikTok Events API allows you to send important events (PageView, Purchase, etc.) directly to TikTok Ads.
This bypasses browser limitations (cookies, ad blockers, or iOS updates) and helps TikTok Ads optimize more effectively.

With NestAds 2.0, you can:

• Send server-side events automatically.
• Enable Advanced Matching with user identifiers.
• Improve ad delivery and lower CPM/CAC.
  

Who can use NestAds’ server-side tracking? 

• For merchants who have never created a pixel before, NestAds can serve as the first solution to push data directly to their ad platforms.
• For merchants who previously pushed data using other solutions — such as the official Facebook–Shopify integration, third-party apps like Elevar, Triple Whale, Littledata, or other less reliable tools on the Shopify App Store — NestAds can replace those setups with a simpler, more accurate solution.

How To Set Up TikTok Events API with NestAds? 

Step 1: Disconnect Old Integrations

Before setting up, remove:

• Shopify’s TikTok integration app.
  
• Other 3rd-party tracking tools that support the same feature (e.g., Elevar, Triple Whale,..).

Removing them will help to deduplicate data push back to the platform.

Step 2: Add TikTok as a Destination

1. From your NestAds dashboard, go to Pushback Data

2. Click Add Destination.

3. Choose a platform (TikTok Ads), then name the destination.
   
   
4. Fill in required fields:
   
   • Pixel ID/ Conversion ID (from TikTok for Business)
   • Access Token. To generate an Access Token, go to TikTok for Business. Navigate to Assets > Pixels, choose the pixel and select Generate Access Token.
     
5. Click Save.
   

P.S. Your account must have permission to access the Assets and Pixels section.

Step 3: Enable Advanced Matching

1. Go back to the TikTok for Business, then head to your Assets > Pixels.
2. Heading to Privacy and Safety 
3. Toggle ON all the data matching like below
