Setting Up Product Estimated Delivery Dates

NS Estimated Delivery Date provides the feature of setting up precise estimated delivery dates for your products. This allows users to configure and display estimated delivery timelines, taking into account factors such as preparation time, shipping duration, and regional holidays. 

In this post, you will learn how to configure the estimated delivery date for your items. Let’s get started!

How to set up the estimated delivery date for your products?

Date Settings 

  1. To set up your estimated delivery date, please navigate to the Estimated delivery time section > adjust the field below:
  • Order ready working day
  • Order ready range
  • Order delivery working day
  • Order delivery range

Order Ready Working Day: Specify the exact working day when an order will be ready for shipment.

Order Ready Range: Define a range of days within which an order will be prepared and ready to ship.

Order Delivery Working Day: Set the specific working day when the order is expected to be delivered to the customer.

Order Delivery Range: Indicate a range of days for the expected delivery window, providing flexibility and clarity to customers.

2. Tick on the working days for your order preparation and delivery:

When you untick your non-working days, NestScale EDD Product will calculate your preparation date and delivery timeline without these days.

   3. Choose the order preparation and delivery time range

By dragging your mouse over the Order ready range bar and Orde delivery range bar, you can select the number of days expected for these two processes.  

4. Click on Save > Choose Confirm button in the confirmation pop-up

Holidays settings

Holidays section allows adding holidays to remove these non-working days from your dispatch and delivery date calculation, ensuring accurate order preparation timelines. 

Adding a new holiday date

  1. Click on the toggle to enable the Holidays feature > choose the Date format from the dropdown

  1. On List of holidays field, choose + Add date to create a new holiday

  1. At the window pop-up, enter the Holiday name and choose its Date from the calendar > click Confirm to save

4. Your holidays will appear on the holiday list as below:

Delete a holiday date

  1. Navigate to the List of holidays section > click on the Delete icon to remove the holiday

Cut-off-times

The cut-off times allow you to set a daily deadline for same-day order preparation. Here is the guideline on how to set Cut-off times:

  1. Click on the toggle to enable the Cut-off-times feature > enter the following information:
  • First input: Text before Cut-off-time
  • Cut-off times: Display the countdown time for packing on the same day
  • Last input: Text after Cut-off-time
  • Time format: The setting time format

Here is an example for a cut-off-times of 11.59 pm and your customers view your product at 4.23 pm:

  • The Cut-off times field displays 23:59:59 (24-hour clock)
  • Customers see the Cut-off times message as follows: 7 hours 36 minutes 11 seconds (The time format can be changed as you wish)
